Blab: Wow, more than 2 years since the previous one, I fully understand when Shimono was like “it took me a while to remember who the character was” in the free talk. Still didn’t find anything special to this story… and it was even less interesting this round since there was like no more actual relationship development, just all this other outside story. Like they said in the free talk, Hino’s character was lots of tsun and not really dere. And eh. XD And once again, hisashiburi Shimono-san no hiwai na koe~

Free talk, funny how some of them were like “we’re the same height as the characters” 8D

I’ve had this blog for over 3 years now, without the intention of opening it up to search engines since:
1. I didn’t have much to talk about except BL drama I’d listened to, and I didn’t care to have any comments on it… XD;;
2. Talk of adult material, I guess I just didn’t sit too well with it being thrown out there while I was still schooling, even at college level. But I’m done with school now, I hope.

Since I’ve been reading more BL novels now, which give me a lot more to say… I’ll let myself open to the search engines. Even though I’m not like most of the other fujoshi blogs who will consistently update. Like currently, I’m pretty much only stalking anything Takarai Rihito is involved with. I do have a few other novels/manga of writers/artists I have little to no experience with, which I will slowly explore.

But yeah… might as well open it up to the search engines now.
There’s still no actual full structure to this blog, and I’ll blab when I feel like it like usual.~
Who knows, maybe a kindred spirit will stumble upon this blog and we’ll get to gush about our shared interests together.

For the record, only a low 3k hits without the search engine. xD;

Nise Ouji Pina

Blab: Yet another book grabbed because of Takarai Rihito’s art.
Simple names to work with in this novel, Pina (covering for Pearl Ouji) and Asuran. Pina is an orphan who had been living off trash, and by sheer coincidence ends up becoming the Prince’s double when another kingdom attacks. In order to survive, he has to become Asuran’s slave, yet everyone still assumes Pina was once the real Prince. And part of being a slave requires sleeping with the master once a week. Complicated feelings ensue, waii \o/
The cliche setups aren’t really getting to me, and Takarai has had more interesting illustrations in other novels, but I’m enjoying what I can out of the novel anyway. xD In fact, this is the first one I’ve read outside of a normal modern-day Japanese setting, if I don’t count visual novel games such as Lamento and such. o.O;

The book almost spends more time just delving into the uke’s mind as events turn about him than the actual relationship development. Fortunately, I really like this particular uke, so I could read through it all and I could sympathize. It kind of had to happen, seeing as the seme kept going in and out of the picture every other page. Busy busy man… |D…

*SPOILERS FROM HERE ON*
I totally lol’ed when Jeek barged in and told Pina that the whole “sleeping with the master once a week” thing was “optional”.
And that ending was the fluffiest I’ve ever read so far. XD At least I was in the mood for it.
The H, while hot, wasn’t as thorough as I wanted it to be, even with the scene where the uke was on drugs. But still hot. xD
