Blab: Random pickup for Konohara Narise since the summary interested me. I was a bit surprised the actual novel is smaller than my usual BL books, but there’s still plenty of material in it to read. In fact I haven’t even read the one shot that was added to the back of the book… ^^;
My interest in the couple waned off towards the end and I only brushed through the parts about coming out to the parents. But the first 2/3 of the book was pretty good. A few things irked me here and there, like the girl in the story who seemed double-personality to me >_> (at least she disappears from the story altogether relatively quickly), but the all-important male x male bonding was great on my heart >w< ~ The art is REALLY not my style but I still appreciated it.

Blab: Hoshit drama.
But omg, it hurt in a funny way to see Noji-nii play his younger role (high school). But the end of the CD made it ALLLLL worth it. I look forward to the last installment.

Akai Hana was a good listen too. Mmmmmm.

H Rate: 1/10. There was really only one scene, and it was pseudo-rape-ish (and extremely important to the story) x_x~ CD 2 Track 2 – uhyaaaaaa kimoi sugitan
Blab: WHY DID I NOT LISTEN TO THIS EARLIER. XD THIS THING IS LIKE… OTOME DREAMS..
It took me to end of track 6 on the first CD to finally realize it, but this is totallllllllllly the shippable BL pair in Panic Palette *w*~~~~~~~~~~~
Even better, both of the seiyuu use my favorite voice style for BL for this drama series~ Sugitan in subdued, iyashi-kei seme, and Suzuki in normal-sounding manly voice but with just the slightest, subtle touch of feminism at times to bring in the uke~

slow (not in a bad way), longggggg, and angst yummmmmmeh. Totally did nottttttt expect this kind of story from the cover, and good thing I didn’t. XD This drama series is definitely not for the light of attention or heart, because it is 4 full CDs of two guys trying to coming to terms with each other. And it takes its heart-wrenching time to do so. There’s also a good amount of secondary cast, and they keep things interesting without getting in the way too much. XD

My pillow was practically soaked in WAIL by the end of it since I listened to all four in a single run (the first two while on my computer and the last two while lying around in bed XD).

I felt that Suzuki was a litttttle overdoing it sometimes at the end of the first CD. It makes more sense after the end of the series though. Maybe it comes off better in the novel… ^^;

H Rate: 1/10. They did the whole “WE’RE GOING TO FADE OFF INTO THIS MUSIC WHICH MEANS THEY HAD SEX. THE END” ORZ
Blab: Top rate cuz I’m a freaking angst masochist when it comes to BL. But it has to have a long, happy ending for me to say it was worth it all. And it was.

This comment is 100% coming off from the current times, but what I would do to be in Hirosue’s place during that lawyer’s office position offer…… AND HE…!! ARGH.

I applaud the performances, it was LONG AND A FUN TRAIN-BRAINWRECK-RIDE…… OTSUKARE~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Anyway, this is the first drama series I’ve really decided to start reading the novels they were based off of, so I hope they have stuff the drama didn’t cover \o/

I have to admit though, one thing keeping me from buying the original product (aside from amazonjp being the only place I can find BL novels that’ll ship internationally and their shipping rates are killer) is the smoking bits in the second half. I acknowledge that it’s …sadly… realistic, and they don’t stick with it in the very end, but nonetheless I’m avoiding supporting it monetarily whenever I can. It reminds me too much of a certain MBA person who will smoke whenever a client invites him to just to establish the business relationship… and this person claims he’s trying to reduce his carbon footprint =_=; I dunno though… there’s smoking in Messiah too, but I’ve managed to forgive that in the end (especially since Takuto specifically quits altogether in the perfect end with Ryouta ). A similar thing happens in this story, but it just didn’t come off as cute to me somehow. I might also change my mind with this series after reading the novels. Let’s seeeee.

Blab: Based off a novel series Cold Sleep, Cold Light, and Cold Fever…
I WAS HOPING FOR SOME NOJI-NII H but any it had was all waccha and all he does is something not… nice to the flowers orz ahahaa, next time!
The drama is in Waccha’s POV. He loses his memories and comes to live with Noji-nii, and the plot’s pretty typical there. Their past brings in a whole bunch of drama which I normally don’t care for, but Noji-nii makes it better. :D
Waccha is purty normal in this drama, 地味じゃないけど、なんか普通や真面目な感じ… just the way I like him to be honest. XD; And Noji-nii’s subdued, low voice was beautiful as usual. JUST THE WAY I LIKE IT hurrrr. Seriously, even when he SPOILER gets stabbed, he’s totally soundless and cool about it, even though it obviously HURTTTTTtttttsss, and it’s just hottttttt.
Noji-nii’s drunk scenes were really awesome too even though I really don’t condone drinking so much. >_>; But he was doing it because of LOVE SICKNESS so I forgive him. xD~
Seriously Noji-nii you put the chemistry into everything ~

Best part ever? Scene 7, at the 10-minute mark. It’s absolutely magnified since the rest of Noji-nii in the drama is so calm and cool. Waccha notices goosebumps near Noji-nii’s neck while they’re walking together, so he goes to put a scarf around him… and then Noji-nii just makes the most WILD uke sound and it MOE’d me UP LIKE NOTHING ELSEEee ashjdfkjasdhfsdkjfhsdkjdkjfn YARANAIKA. I felt like I just sinned by listening to it. Yes.
